Now through February 2023, Gulf Coast students, teachers and charities may apply for any of 22 grants and scholarships that reward academic and athletic excellence and innovative class projects, especially in the public and special education arena. The grants cycle for teachers and charitable organizations runs annually from August 1 through October 31. Scholarship season runs from December 1 through February 28.
“We are honored to connect worthy grantees with generous donors, to make a positive change in the lives of Gulf Coast residents,” said Lisa Birmingham, Director of Grants and Scholarships.
Last year GCCF onboarded a new intake system to improve our capacity for a high volume of applications with ease for both applicants and grants and scholarship reviewers. Applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the grants and scholarships portal once the cycles open, to ensure ample time to complete the applications.
In 2022 alone GCCF distributed over $ 2 Million in grants and scholarships from funds established by donors for arts and culture, education, religious and non-religious food pantries, community development, and other crucial programs.
Please spread the word about our grantmaking season to charities, now open until October 31st.
